Christopher Brocklebank-Fowler (born 13 January 1934) was a British politician, most notable for being the sole Conservative MP to defect to the Social Democrats.
Brocklebank-Fowler entered Parliament as a Conservative MP in the 1970 general election, representing the King's Lynn constituency. In 1974, this seat was abolished and from there on he represented the Norfolk North West seat.
In 1981, he defected to the SDP, but in the 1983 general election he lost the seat back to the Conservatives by a majority of about 3,000. He contested the seat again in the 1987 general election, but lost by a much wider margain.
After the merger with the Liberals to form the Liberal Democrats, he then contested the Norfolk South constituency in the 1992 general election but was once again second.
