Singer-songwriter Christina Mason was born in 1981 in Paget, Bermuda. She moved to New York City at twenty-two and soon established herself as an inventive singer-songwriter.

In 2005, Mason launched an independent music showcase entitled The Local Epiphany, which featured several up-and-coming NYC music acts. The showcase soon gained significant local popularity, as it charged no cover and offered patrons free beer.

Mason claims to dislike genres, but has referred to her music as Epiphany Rock, which places great precedence on emotional earnestness and transcendence.
