Christian de Portzamparc (born May 5, 1944 in Casablanca, Morocco) is a French architect and urbanist. Studies architecture at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris after considering himself "a designer who painted before he decided to study architecture". He won the Pritzker Prize in 1994.
