Christian Provenzano

Christian Provenzano (born 1975) was a candidate in the electoral district of Sault Ste. Marie in the 2006 Canadian federal election, representing the Liberal Party of Canada. He was defeated by incumbent New Democratic Party Member of Parliament Tony Martin.
Raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Provenzano attended the University of Waterloo from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation, he was elected President of the University of Waterloo Federation of Students for the 1998-1999 term. He then studied law at Dalhousie University, and upon graduating returned to Sault Ste. Marie to practise law with his father.
Provenzano's late uncle was Carmen Provenzano, Member of Parliament for Sault Ste. Marie from 1997 to 2004.
