Christer Warren

Christer Simon Warren (born 10 October 1974 in Weymouth, Dorset) is a football player for Lymington & New Milton F.C. He can play in a number of positions, mainly on the left side of midfield.

Warren started his career at Cheltenham Town. Christer became Cheltenham Town's record "sale" for a fee of £40000 with clauses about appearances etc. which brought in much needed cash to the Southern League side. He scored Cheltenham's goal in their 1-1 2nd Round FA Cup game against Bournemouth forcing a replay.

Following on from that Christer had a lengthy Football League career with spells at Southampton from September 1995 to March 1997 (8 league appearances/0 goals), Brighton (on loan October 1996) (3/0), Fulham (on loan March 1997) (11/1), AFC Bournemouth (fee - £50000) from October 1997 (103/13), Queens Park Rangers (free transfer) from June 2000 (36/0) and finally Bristol Rovers (non-contract) from August 2002 (2/0).

In October 2002 he signed for Eastleigh F.C. and in October 2005 he joined Winchester City of the Wessex League. In September 2006 he left Winchester to join the Linnets .
