Chris Snee (born January 8, 1982) is a starting guard for the New York Giants who played college football at Boston College. Chris was selected by the Giants in the 2nd round of the 2004 NFL Draft and started 11 games in his rookie season.
Snee is the son-in-law of Giants coach Tom Coughlin, as he married Katie Coughlin in July 2004. Prior to being drafted by the Giants, Snee and Coughlin were already raising a baby boy, Dylan, prompting some commentators to speculate that the Giants chose Snee because of his relationship with Coughlin's daughter. This charge was vehemently denied by all parties involved.
[edit] High school career
At Montrose High School, Snee was a two-time All-State selection, and a three-time All-Conference selection.
