Chris Rose

Chris Rose is a sportscaster, and one of the hosts of The Best Damn Sports Show Period, on Fox Sports Net. Except for a brief period in 2004 and 2005, Rose has hosted the show since its inception in 2001.

He is also the host of the poker series Learn from the Pros. Beginning with the 2006 NFL season, Rose served as the "Game-Break" host for The NFL on FOX. Rose was chosen to host the pre-game, halftime, and post game shows for Fox's BCS coverage with former Miami head coach and Fox NFL analyst Jimmy Johnson.

He was also in a boxing reality TV show featuring Oscar de la Hoya; and was the host of Celebrity Boxing on the over-the-air Fox network. He appeared in the movies Glory Road and Mr. 3000, essentially playing himself as a sportscaster.

Prior to The Best Damn Sports Show Period, Rose was a host of The National Sports Report on FSN, and he has also hosted a radio talk show.

Rose is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Rose graduated from University School, a small, private high school in Hunting Valley, Ohio, a suburb close to Cleveland.
