Chris Riseley (born 1965) is an American author, producer, and university teacher. He is also the co-creator of the syndicated comic strip Rizzo. He got his degree at University of California, Berkeley. He currently teaches at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah.

Was a roommate with Joey Cape, of Lagwagon fame when he attended University of California, Berkeley.

He has never met Rizzo collaborator Sean Simmans.
