Chris Owens (basketball)

Haywood Chris Owens (born March 1, 1979 in Akron, Ohio) is an American professional basketball player, presently with the German league team ALBA Berlin. He played collegiately at Tulane University and the University of Texas. He was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2nd round of the 2002 NBA Draft but traded to the Memphis Grizzlies for whom he played one game.

He is the great-nephew of 1930s track and field star, Jesse Owens. ^[1]
