Chris Mears

Christopher Peter Mears (born January 20, 1978 in Ottawa, Ontario) is a Canadian baseball pitcher.
Mears plays for the Toledo Mud Hens, the AAA affiliate of Major League Baseball's Detroit Tigers. He was originally drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 1996 amateur draft. Mears was part of Team Canada in the 2004 Summer Olympics, who finished in fourth place.
