Chris McHugh

Chris McHugh (born 1964) Lived in Oaklyn, NJ until becoming the drummer of Christian rock band White Heart from 1986 to 1989. He also worked in the recording of several of their later albums.

Chris was playing drums by the age of three. A child prodigy with the gift of natural timing, he was enrolled in the prestigious Philadelphia School for the Performing Arts. At the age of fourteen he was already playing recording sessions and performing live shows. In the early eighties he joined the band Whiteheart, and became famous for his solid drum sound.

Chris McHugh is on the Nashville "A" list of session drummers. His recording credits span over twenty years with the top gold and platinum artists of the music industry.

He has toured with Amy Grant and Garth Brooks. Chris is currently on tour with Keith Urban and has been the session drummer for Keith's last three CD's.
