Chris Lewis (Usenet)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Chris Lewis is a Canadian expert on Usenet and spam. He is perhaps best known for his work in writing and running auto-cancelers for newsgroup spam, and his help in implementing (and avoiding the need for) UDPs. He is employed by Nortel/BNR and helps maintain the Ottawa-Carleton Unix Users Group (Ocunix [1]).

He is generally considered to be a leading member of the so-called cabal that allegedly runs Usenet.
