[edit] Early life
Crudelli's early years were spent on an underprivileged council estate in a rough part of Birmingham. By the age of 7 he had already been witness to an armed robbery, an armed kidnapping and hostage situation, a robbery at gun point and a number of other drug related crimes.
His parents divorced very shortly after he was born and he only met up with his father by the age of 17. In the 80's he began to take Kung Fu lessons full time by doing various jobs to get him the money. He then went to live with a Chinese family where he stated:
-
- " I grew up in an extremely rough & underprivileged area of Brum, but frankly, looking back, even I am shocked at the amount of mindless, violent, racist and often alcohol or drug induced trouble I was forced to deal with whilst living & working with the Chinese. For years, actual and inferred violence was virtually a nightly occurrence."
When he was a teenager he flew to Hong Kong where he wished to develop his Kung Fu abilities to greater heights. He trained under a Chinese herbalist while also setting bones and making medicines.
As shown through the series hosted by Chris, he is also a master of the mystical energies of Qi (Chi, Ki), which he frequently demonstrates throughout the series.
