Chris Coble

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Chris Coble is a competitive eater from Fremont, CA, and a member of the International Federation of Competitive Eating (home page). Coble is a true multidiscipline athlete. Having learned dedication, teamwork and determination from 14 years spent swimming competitively, he has applied these principles to his competitive eating.

Bursting onto the scene in 2004 at a lo-carb burger contest as his school, USC, he proved he had what it takes. Since then Coble has turned heads at donuts, chicken wings and the Alka-Seltzer US Open of Competitive Eating. Coble has a personal best of 15 Nathan's hot dogs in 12 minutes. He hopes to boost that number in 2006 in order to fulfill his dream of being the only person to compete in both the world championships of eating -the Nathan's Fourth of July contest - and the Ironman Championship in Hawaii.
