Chris Brandon is a professional footballer currently playing for Huddersfield Town in the Coca-Cola League 1 in England.
Originally a trainee for his hometown club, Bradford City, he was dropped by their academy and joined Bradford Park Avenue. He later played for Farsley Celtic before joining Stafford Rangers. He played 32 times for Rangers over 2 seasons before returning to play for Bradford Park Avenue.
In March 1999 he played in a reserve match for Lincoln City, but failed to win a contract. In August 1999 he was signed by Torquay United, and immediately established himself as a first team regular. However, only 2 games into the following season, Chris picked up a stomach tear, which kept him out for the rest of the season. His absence along with that of Brian Healy left a gaping hole in the Torquay midfield. During his disrupted 3 seasons with Torquay, he amassed 80 appearances with 10 goals to his credit, before moving to Chesterfield in July 2002 under the Bosman ruling.
In July 2004, Brandon was picked up on a free transfer by Huddersfield Town, where he has made a name for himself on the right wing of Town's midfield quartet. One of his most famous goals was against Worcester City in the 2nd Round of the F.A. Cup in December 2005, which gave Town a money-spinning 3rd Round tie at Stamford Bridge against José Mourinho's Chelsea.
