Chris Anstey (born January 1, 1975 in Melbourne) is one of Australia's premier basketball players. At 7’0” (2.13 m) and over 240 lbs (110 kg), Anstey is usually a starter at centre on the Australian national team. He is known for his all-around skill on the court and has had a very successful career including stints in the NBA, Russia and Spain. He is currently playing for the Melbourne Tigers in the Australian NBL.

Anstey took up basketball at the relatively late age of 17, Before that he was a promising tennis player, peaking at number 2 ranked amongst Australia's 15 year old players. In 1994 he joined the Melbourne Tigers and was teammates with some of the most recognisable names in Australian basketball, such as Andrew, Lindsay Gaze, Lanard Copeland and Stephen Hoare.

Anstey has been married to Australian former swimmer Linley Frame, since 2000.
