Talk:Choir of Michael Turetsky

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi, I have placed a couple tags onto the article I will explain them.

The first one refers to the fact that we need third party references to confirm each fact. You can read WP:V for more information.

Also, an article's subject must demonstrate notability to be included in the encyclopedia. Our guidelines for the notability of bands are here WP:BAND.

Since this article is of biographical nature it is held to higher standards. Unless reliable sources are provided this article may be deleted. HighInBC (Need help? Ask me) 17:02, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your talk.

This choir now is one of the best chorus collective in the modern Russia. It started from singing in the synagogue in 1989, but from beginning of 2000 it started to sing opera, jazz, musials, etc. The voices of the soloists can be compared with the best opera singers (one of the soloists has been invited to sing in Bolshoy theatre, but has rejected this offer. I'll try in the nearest future to expand the article and to add references. You can see, that it is a stub only.

(The relevant article in Russian is also not finished. I am waiting for addidtional information about the soloists.)

Excellent, now we need that in the form of links to reliable third party sources. As an encyclopedia we only publish previously published information. Surely such a succesful group will have been mentioned in various media outlets? HighInBC (Need help? Ask me) 17:18, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Added new references (one is in Russian). In a few days I'll add more information and references.
