Chortle is a website covering British comedy, primarily stand-up comedy. It contains listings of both comedy venues and comedians as well as current tour dates for the latter at the former.

There are reviews of most current UK circuit acts, principally by Steve Bennett.

The site takes its name from the word chortle as invented by Lewis Carroll for his poem Jabberwocky, meaning "a joyful laugh, rather like a snorting chuckle".
