Chorrol is a fictional town featured in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

[edit] About Chorrol

Chorrol is located in the Great Forest, near the Hammerfell border. The city itself is heavily fortified as it serves as county seat for County Chorrol. Weynon Priory, a monastery of the Order of Talos, is located nearby. It has one main gate that faces south. When the protagonist first enters Chorrol, they will see a large statue of St. Osla treating a fallen soldier at the Sack of Sancre Tor. North of the statue is the city's central rotunda. The Arborwatch estate, local Mages' Guild and Fighters' Guild chapter guildhalls, and several up-scale homes. West of the rotunda is the Great Chapel of Stendarr and the lower-class homes. To the east is Castle Chorrol, home of Countess Arianna Valga

[edit] Countess Arianna Valga

Countess Valga's husband, the hereditary ruler, recently passed away without an heir, making Valga the next in line for the throne. While she spends most of her time in Castle Chorrol, she can be often seen mingling with her people. Her favorite locations include the Great Chapel of Stendarr and the Oak and Crossier Tavern.

She is the mother of Countess Alessia Caro of Leyawiin.
