Chondrosteosaurus (meaning "bony cartilage lizard") was a sauropod from Early Cretaceous England. The type species, Chondrosteosaurus gigas, was described by Richard Owen in 1876. The fossils of Chondrosteosaurus were discovered on the Isle of Wight.
