Choir of Ormond College

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Choir of Ormond College was founded by Douglas Lawrence in 1982 and has become the first Australian choir to receive ongoing international recognition. The choir consists almost entirely of current and former resident students of Ormond College, where the choir provides music during weekly chapel services. The Choir of Ormond College performs, tours and records regularly both within Australia and internationally and has toured abroad every two years since 1985. Douglas Lawrence resigned as director in 2006.
