Cho Yiu Chuen (祖堯邨) is a housing estate built by Hong Kong Housing Society which is located in the mid-hill of Lai King.

The estate was named after the death of the founding member of the Housing Authority, Sir Cho-yiu Kwan (關祖堯爵士) in December 1971.

• Kai Chun Lau (啟真樓), Kai Kwong Lau (啟光樓) (completed in late 1976)
• Kai Lim Lau (啟廉樓) (completed in 1978)

• Kai Hang Lau (啟恆樓), Kai Min Lau (啟勉樓), Kai Him Lau (啟謙樓) (completed in 1978 to 1979, providing 1149 flats)
• Chung Ling She (松齡舍) (completed in 1978 to 1979, providing 130 flats for the aged, plus one for the supervisor)

Totally 2532 flats are provided in the estate, which are located in 19 buildings of the 8 blocks.

Kai King Lau, which is a 38-storey building with 16 flats on each floor, was the highest public housing building in the world at the time of completion.

It takes a 5-minute walk from Cho Yiu Chuen to the Lai King MTR Station, which is the interchange station of the Tsuen Wan Line and Tung Chung Line. It takes about 10 minutes to travel from Lai King to Hong Kong Station, which is located in Central, and about 15 minutes to travel to Tung Chung, which is located on the Lantau Island.

• 45 [Lai Yiu <> Kowloon City Ferry]
• 46 [Lai Yiu <> Jordan (Wui Cheung Road)]
• 269M [Tin Shui Wai Town Centre <> Cho Yiu]

The bus stop / terminus is located at King Cho Road, outside Block D of the commercial complex.

The following KMB routes are also available by a 5-minute walk from the estate:

• 42 (Cheung Ching <> Shun Lee)
• 46X (Hin Keng <> Mei Foo)
• N241 (Cheung Hang <> Hung Hom Station, overnight service)

The bus stops are located at Lai King Hill Road, near Lai King Hill Road Playground (Kowloon bound) or Lok King House Lai King Estate (New Territories bound).

• Cho Yiu Chuen Methodist Kindergarten, which is located at Kai Him Lau
• Cho Yiu Catholic Primary School (祖堯天主教小學), which is located in King Cho Road
• HKSYZ&IA Chan Nam Cheong Memorial College, which is located in the pathway between the main plaza and Kai Kwong Lau.
