[edit] Why Windows?

Why does this template link to a Microsoft site? Of course, many people use Windows, but there are also other operating systems that might not have international fonts installed. I think that this is a little biased towards the Windows users. Maybe there is a better page to link to. If I find one, I'll replace the link that's currently up. --Michiel Sikma 11:03, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

Doesn't Mac show Chinese by default either??? Why not collect the links for Windows and Mac and others for their individual Asian character support, here and then link to it. I'll start such page on Wikipedia:Enabling East Asian Characters 亮HH 08:30, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Category

What exactly do we anticipate the category being used for? This is a meta-category and should properly be on the talk page, if a category is needed at all. But I would think what links here would be just as good. Christopher Parham (talk) 23:16, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
