That "Scientific Expedition" was not a "try to recover their lost posesions". Spain had recognized Chilean independence years before that. And how they were going to reconquist Peru & Chile with a fleet? Climbing their ships inside land? This article is quite NNPOV --80.103.138.14 02:42, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
