This page is meant for people who are planning their first China travel itinerary. Here are some hints on where to visit on the vast country of China.

Actually Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin and Hong Kong are the most visited cities in China.

A lot of people refer it as the 'Golden Route' or 'Presidential Route' after Bill Clinton visited these cities in 1998.

China travel golden route has a good combination of everything: great historical heritages, beautiful landscape, delicious Chinese food, great shopping and so on.

Best time to visit China is spring and autumn when China has beautiful weather and fewer tourists.

For first-time visitors to China, the golden route is certainly the top pick. You would need at least two weeks to complete the tours.

A China Visa is a pre-requisite for China travel. All foreign passport holders must acquire a China visa before arriving China.

Ordinary passport holders of Japan, Singapore and Brunei who come to China for sightseeing, doing business, visiting relatives or transit can enjoy a visa free period of 15 days. Nationals of these countries holding other types of passport or visit China for other purposes will still require a visa.

Visa for China is usually valid for three months. That means visitors have to arrive China within three months after obtaining the visa.
