It's been a while since I've seen the series, so I could be misremembering, but I seem to recall that Chicken Boo was dressed up in human clothes, but otherwise looked and even acted to some degree like a chicken. A person with normal visual and reasoning abilities would be able to see he was a dressed up giant chicken, the joke was that since he was wearing clothes people took him as a person instead. I bring this up because the entry doesn't really mention this aspect of his segments. If I am in fact remembering correctly, I'd suggest the entry be modified to correctly reflect this information.

Ah! But you have missed the entire point of Chicken Boo.

Chicken Boo represented the human abilty to see what we want to see. Once we decided something, i.e., this person is a doctor, we look for signs to support our decision (he is wearing a white lab coat and is carrying a clipboard) and we ignore what does not support our conclusion (he is covered in feathers, has a red comb & wattles on his head, he has wings and he clucks). We are happy - this is a doctor. When someone tries to interfer with our view (Hey! That is a giant chicken!) we ignore the contrary view and blindly go with our beliefs until something happens that rudely forces us to accept the truth before our eyes, that the creature is indeed, not a doctor, but is a giant chicken. We then are outraged and take it all out on the chicken. How dare he make fools of us!

Chicken Boo is heavy man.
