SUMMARY Geronimo, a Native American (Chiricahua Apache) man, a U. S. prisoner, poses outdoors near a group of tents. He wears a woven blanket and beaded cap. He has defended his people from the harm of the U.S land takeover.
NOTES Title from etching in print. Picture probably was taken at Ft. Sill OK. Geronimo died 1909.
