Chiusanico is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 90 km southwest of Genoa and about 10 km northwest of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 592 and an area of 13.7 km2.[1]
The municipality of Chiusanico contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Torria, Gazzelli, Garsci, and Zebbi.
Chiusanico borders the following municipalities: Borgomaro, Caravonica, Cesio, Chiusavecchia, Diano Arentino, Lucinasco, Pontedassio, Stellanello, and Testico.
