Chirmiri is a city and a municipality in the Koriya district of the state of Chhattisgarh, India.
It is will-known for its coal mines; mining began here in 1950. The most famous place to visit is "Lord Jagnnath Temple"; made by the workers brought from Puri, it looks almost like the Jagannath Temple (Puri) at Puri.
