Chirk station (Welsh: Y Waun) is a railway station serving the town of Chirk in the county borough of Wrexham, Wales. Chirk station is on the Shrewsbury to Chester Line, which is part of the former Great Western Railway mainline route from London Paddington to Birkenhead Woodside. All services are operated by Arriva Trains Wales including through trains to Cardiff via the Welsh Marches Line and Holyhead via the North Wales Coast Line.
A new company, the Wrexham, Shropshire and Marylebone Railway, has proposed new services to call at this station, starting from the summer of 2007.
