The Chipping Norton Stakes is a Group 1 Australian thoroughbred horse race at Weight for Age run over a distance of 1600 metres at Warwick Farm Racecourse, Sydney in February or March.

1925 - 1972 held over 10 furlongs (approx. 2000m) 1972 - 1979 held over 2100m. 1980 onwards held over 1600m.
1925 - 1979 was designated as a principle race.
1980 - 1985 was a Group 2 race.
1986 onwards Group 1 race.
