Chip Beall

Charles "Chip" Beall is the founder and president of Questions Unlimited, a company which authors quiz bowl questions, which claims to have originated in 1978. Beall won $30,600 on Jeopardy! in 1985. In addition to authoring the questions that his business sells, he hosts the annual National Academic Championship and the semi-annual QuizNet, as well as a weekly internet chatroom style competition. This internet chatroom style is known as Academic Bowl. Mr. Beall is married to Tanya Govorun and has a son Andrew Beall, author of the "Testament Symphony."
