Ching Wah Court

Ching Wah Court (青華苑) is a housing estate under Home Ownership Scheme by Hong Kong Housing Authority on the Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. It was completed in 1986 and sold under plan 8A and 9A of the Home Ownership Scheme. It situates on the hills and is opposite to the fifth phase of Cheung Hong Estate.

Between Block B and C, there a 3-level car park for hourly and monthly hiring. The Management Office is at the Car Park Building near Tsing Chin Street. Below the office is Tsing Yi Trade Association Kindergarten and a Circle K convenience store.

Totally 2460 residential flats are provided in the estate.

There are two bus stops named "Ching Wah Court". One is opposite to the Cheung Hong Commercial Centre No.2, where routes

Another is at Tsing Yi West Road, 2-minute walking distance from Block A, with routes

  • A31 (towards Airport Ground Transportation Centre),
  • E21 (towards AsiaWorld-Expo),
  • E31 (towards Yat Tung),
  • E32 (towards AsiaWorld-Expo),
  • E42 (towards Airport Ground Transportation Centre),
  • N21 (towards Airport Ground Transportation Centre, overnight service),
  • N31 (towards Airport Ground Transportation Centre, overngiht service),
  • 264M (towards Tin Yan) and
  • 279X (towards Luen Wo Hui).

After Crossing Ching Hong Road, residents will have numberous choices of bus routes as people in Cheung Hong Estate do. Hot spots for taking buses towards Kowloon or within-Tsing-Yi are the Cheung Hong Bus Terminus, Hong Shun House bus stop and Ching Shing Court bus stop at the other side of the road.

There is a playground in each phase of the estate.

Next to the bus stop at Tsing Yi West Road, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department built the Ching Wah Playground (with a small football field) and the Ching Wah Garden for recreation.

The Tsing Yi Nature Trail, which is popular for the beautiful view of Tsing Ma Bridge, starts at the other side of Tsing Yi West Road. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from Ching Wah Court to the entrance of the trail.
