Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke

Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke (born 1st June 1986) is a Nigerian footballer who plays for Lyn.
"Edu", as he is also known in Norway, came to Norway at the same time as his countryman Mikel, but it is not considered that Chinedu has the same huge potential. In June 2005 he was also linked with a move to Chelsea. Chinedu impressed in the Under-20 World Championships in Holland in the summer of 2005, and scored both in the semi-final and the final, (which Nigeria lost to Argentina). It is unknown what the future holds for the career of the Nigerians at Lyn. "Edu" has currently (10.23.06) scored eight goals in the last eight matches and is considered as one of the best strikers in the Norwegian Tippeligaen (Norwegian PL)
On August 14, 2006, it was reported in UK newspaper The Times that Arsenal were interested in signing Ogbuke.He has also been linked with CSKA Moscow and Liverpool FC
