Family Chimaerasuchidae ("Chimera crocodiles") is a proposed group to contains a disparate group of small, bizarre crocodilians from the Cretaceous. All of the chimaerasuchids were small, no more than 1 meter in length, had short-snouted heads, and possessed peculiar, multicusped teeth.

Because experts and paleontologists strongly suspect that these multicusped teeth could not adequately cut or tear flesh, and that the short snouts could not extert very much pressure, the chimaerasuchids are believed to have been herbivorous.
