Chigwell Urban District was a local government district in south west Essex, United Kingdom. It contained the civil parishes of Chigwell, Loughton and Buckhurst Hill.
It was created an urban district on 1 October 1933 by the merger of the former area of Buckhurst Hill Urban District, Loughton Urban District and the parish of Chigwell, previously part of the Epping Rural District.
In 1965 a small part of the district was removed to form part of the London Borough of Redbridge.
Since 1 April 1974 its area has formed part of the Epping Forest District.
