A chignon is a type of bun hairstyle, made popular and worn by many women. A chignon looks like a doughnut with a tiny hole in the middle with hairpins that are concealed.

A variation on the chignon is the "Sophisticated Chignon" created by Roy Teeluck. This can be done by Dividing a pony tail in half then smooth first half with natural bristle brush and twist it around itself to create a low loop. Pin into place. Repeat with the second half.
