Chiesa dell'Angelo San Raffaele (Venice)

The Chiesa dell'Angelo San Raffaele (English: "Church of St. Raphael Angel") is a church in Venice, northern Italy.
According to tradition, this church was one of the eight churches founded in Venice by San Magno, Bishop of Oderzo. The church also suffered for fires in 889, 1106 and 1149, each times being rebuilt. At the beginning of the 17th century the edifice was in poor conditions, and was therefore demolished and rebuilt again. Works were finished in 1743-1749.
The church plan is on the Greek cross, with tha façade facing the channel with the same name. The interior has precious 18th century canvasses atrtibuted to Francesco Guardi.
