Chickasaw Turnpike

The Chickasaw Turnpike is a short tolled two-lane freeway that is located in rural south central Oklahoma. Authorized as a compromise between rural and urban legislators who wanted to built turnpikes around Tulsa and Oklahoma City, the road was built and completed by 1991. It stretches 17.2 miles from west of Sulphur, Oklahoma to just south of Ada, Oklahoma. The toll is 55 cents.
