Chick Young

Chick Young is a well known BBC Scotland football pundit, who regularly appears on Sportscene and Sportsound. He is also the captain of a charity football team Dukla Pumpherston, consisting of former professional players and other television celebrities.

His trademark laugh and speech patterns have made him a popular target for lampooning on the BBC Scotland sports comedy Only An Excuse.

Young claims to be a supporter of St Mirren, although a recurring gag in Only An Excuse has it that he not-so-secretly supports Rangers.
