Chicagoland Television

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Chicagoland Television, better known as CLTV, is a Chicago cable news station based out of Oak Brook, IL. One of its most well-known programs in and around Chicago was Sports Page, a nightly sports call-in show similar to many radio shows: it was canceled recently (except for "The Sunday Night Roundtable, which is a hybrid of local and national sports coverage), however. CLTV is owned by the Tribune Company, and during the 1990s broadcasted some Chicago Cubs MLB games.

[edit] Partnerships

CLTV has various partners that provide news and content. Such partners: co-owned WGN-TV for weather, local service Metromix for entertainment, and Comcast SportsNet Chicago (which Tribune holds a stake in), which uses the channel's cable slot to provide extra games (if two games concur) under the "Comcast SportsNet on CLTV" banner.
