Chiba Yusuke (born July 10, 1968, Japan) was the singer and guitarist of the Japanese Garage band Thee Michelle Gun Elephant. While still playing and releasing records with Thee Michelle Gun Elephant he formed the band Rosso in 2001. When Thee Michelle Gun Elephant broke up in 2003 he continued with his band Rosso. In 2006 he formed the band The Birthday together with ex.Thee Michelle Gun Elephant drummer Kazuyuki Kuhara. In September 2006 The Birthday released their debut album Rollers Romantics.
