Chianche is a town in Avellino Province, in the Campania region of Italy.

The town rises on the border between the Avellino and Benevento provinces, on top of a green hill. It is surrounded by chestnut-tree woods, while the fertile countryside produces very fine olive oil and the famous DOC wine "Greco di Tufo".
The town's history is trackable to circa 300, when it was named Placa. It was lorded by many different feudal families, among them the Caracciolo and Carafa.
The altitude of the city is 356 m (1167 feet) above sea-level. Its population is approximately 670. The postal code is 83010, and the telephone prefix is 0825.
The patron saint of the town is San Felice.
