Chester Doles

Chester Doles, Jr. was a leader in the White supremacy movement in the United States and a convicted felon. He was a head of the Georgia chapter of the National Alliance and a former Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. While Doles was running the Lumpkin Country Unit of the National Alliance, he successful held several anti-immigration rallies. He also used skinheads to commit violent crimes for him against minorties in Lumpkin County, GA and all around north Georgia. Doles and Hammerskin members Tate Strahorn, Miles Downing and Jason McGhee planned several racist rock and roll concerts and publicly claimed the September 11th attacks where America's punishment for doing business with Jews. In 2003, he was arrested on five felony charges, including firearms possession, to which he pled guilty[1]. At his trial, Doles' defense team included former US congressman Bob Barr[2].

Doles had been sentenced to seven year imprisonment in 1993 for, together with fellow klansman Raymond Pierson, assaulting a black motorist. Doles plead guilty as part of a plea agreement to testify against Pierson[3]. He served four years of his original sentence[4]. He also had a 1988 sentence on drug and weapons charges[5].
