Chesser

Chesser is a suburb of Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. It is south of the water of Leith. Chesser is a mainly residential part of Edinburgh nestled between Longstone to the West and Shandon to the East. The area is home to a number of notable residents including Gavin MacArthur of that Ilk (Milton Younger), Craig Kat, Scott McCaughie, Andrew Krebs and Chris Dickie. The Edinburgh Corn Exchange is situated in Chesser and has many of the nations top acts performing live on a regular basis. There are also extensive sports facilites there. Chesser's other main feature is the Asda supermarket situated on its southern side. Apart from that, there is not an awful lot in Chesser that does not involve housing of some sort. It has been the scene, in recent years, of a wave of petty crimes, including the removal of various items of street furniture. Most notably, an invisible fence was erected in the Hutchison area on a roundabout. This has served to cause considerable danger to some passers by.
