Chesapeake Ranch Estates, Maryland

The Chesapeake Ranch Estates, or CRE for short, is a large community in Lusby, Maryland composed of nearly 4,000 homes. The CRE is close to the attractions of Solomons Island as well as in close proximity to Patuxent Naval Air Station. The community maintains two private Chesapeake Bay beaches, Driftwood and Seahorse, and one manmade lake, Lake Lariat, as well as Horse Stables, a small Airfield, and a camp ground.

Homes within the community range from beautiful cliff top waterfront homes to affordable former beach escapes.

In order to enter the development and use the facilities one must either be a member or a guest.
