Theta Leonis (θ Leo / θ Leonis) is a star in the constellation Leo. It also has these traditional names:-
- Chertan (from Arabic al-kharātān = "two small ribs", originally referring to δ and θ Leonis).
- Chort (from Arabic al-kharāt or al-khurt = "small rib").
- Coxa (Latin for "hip").
Theta Leonis belongs to the spectral class A0 and has apparent magnitude +3.4. It is 170 light-years from Earth.
