Cherokee Wikipedia edition of Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Cherokee Wikipedia is the Cherokee language edition of Wikipedia, a free, open-content encyclopedia. Started in May of 2004, it had 157 articles as of December 2006.

Chad "Corntassel" Smith, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, sent a letter of his support to the Wolf Mountain Group, mentioning his support of the project.[1]
