Chepauk is a locality in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, a popular international cricket stadium is located at Chepauk. The term Chepauk is often loosely used to refer to the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, which was formerly called Chepauk Stadium. The University of Madras campus is yet another prominent landmark of Chepauk. The Chennai MRTS rail system passes through, and has a station at Chepauk.
