Chenab Nagar (Urdu: چناب نگر) is a city in the Punjab, Pakistan. It has a population of 48,700 (2003). It is also the headquarter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Pakistan. It was formerly known as Rabwah.

Rabwah was renamed forcefully by governmet of Pakistan against the wishes of its residents, in 1999 to "CHENAB NAGAR". It was the direct result of efforts by Orthodox, Almi Majlis e Tahaffuze Khatme Nabuwwat. According to them the word "RABWAH" appears in the Quran as the resting place for Jesus and his mother Mary and thus its use by a Ahmadiyya community is forbidden under anti-Ahmadi Ordinance XX of 1984 in Pakistan Constitution.
